The Whipple W235RF Gen 6 3.8L Supercharger Swap Kit is designed for compatible 2011-2021 Mustang GT, Boss 302, and Shelby GT350 applications that are already equipped with a 3.0L Gen 5 Whipple supercharger system and are being upgraded to the larger Gen 6 3.8L supercharger platform.
This is not a complete supercharger kit. It is a swap package for customers who already have the supporting Whipple supercharger system components and want to step up to the Gen 6 3.8L head unit and matching intercooler/lid setup.
The Gen 6 3.8L Whipple supercharger uses updated rotor, bearing, gear, and housing technology designed to support higher airflow, improved efficiency, and increased power capability compared to the earlier 3.0L platform. In Whipple testing, the 3.8L showed an approximately 6 percent increase in isentropic efficiency compared to the 3.0L supercharger.
For high-boost applications, Whipple recommends upgrading to a 10-rib belt system when running over 18 PSI. Cobra Jet intercooler upgrades may require an aftermarket hood due to clearance limitations with the stock hood, and additional intercooler hose routing, hoses, and fittings may be required.

Important note: This swap kit does not include the supercharger pulley, belt drive system, heat exchanger, cold air intake, throttle body, intercooler reservoir, intercooler pump, or intercooler system hoses. Additional hose routing, hoses, fittings, and supporting components may be required depending on the existing setup and selected configuration.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If we do not receive notice within 7 days of receiving order, we cannot process return.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
